Seismic Protection Systems

In this virtual laboratory, the user will find experiments that allow to analyze and simulate the answer in the time of elastic structures subjected to dynamic loads. The model considers that the main structure use a mass damper (AMS their acronym in Spanish) to reduce the structural answer.

Dynamics of Structures

In this virtual laboratory the user will find experiments that allow perform temporal analysis of elastic and inelastic systems of one and several degrees freedom with diverse dynamic loads. Further with this laboratory the user could generate response spectrum to seismic and harmonic loads.

Buildings

In this virtual laboratory the user will find experiments that allow simulate and design flat frames and reinforced concrete walls submitted to statics and dynamics loads. To the design of the methodology used, was is Direct Design Based on Displacements (DDBD).

Elements of Reinforced Concrete

In this virtual laboratory the user will find experiments that allow simulate and design structural elements like reinforced concrete beams or reinforced concrete columns submitted to statics and dynamics loads. The elements were generate in software OpenSees.

Bridges

In this virtual laboratory the user will find experiments of analysis and design of that allow simulate and design of road bridges. The analysis is temporary inelastic and to the design the laboratoty use the method of Direct Design Based on Displacements (DDBD).

Cables

En este Laboratorio el usuario encontrara experimentos que le permitan analizar el comportamiento no lineal geométrico de estructuras de cables además simular la respuesta estructural del cable suspendido entre dos soportes rígidos bajo el efecto de su propio peso, cargas verticales concentradas o distribuidas.
